Quick scribble

A scribble I did from the lilies a while ago, using the crayons I had lying around on my table - just to say I haven't disappeared. I'm still ploughing through loads of textbook drawings - keep thinking I'm almost at the end, then another lot arrives in my inbox. Hope to resurface soon!

Oh Cathy - what I have been missing being away these past few weeks. The journal book of JOBURG STREETS is fantastic. It must have taken ages to create. Only thing I'd have liked added was a title to each page telling us where they were and when. Loved the lady carrying loads of baskets and a pot on her head most of all I think. Colours so vibrant.
Enjoyed the botanical rose garden too and this latest sketchy crayon work.

Beautiful, loose sketch how is it that I hadn't been to this blog before? I'm adding it to my reader right now!

Cathy, this is so vibrant and lovely to look at -- I'm glad you can do such amazing work in no time at all, as you don't seem to have any to spare!

Keep working and come back to us as soon as you can. I love that you take an art break for your graphic stuff.

Catching up on your lovely work, must come back and look at your book in depth, glorius loose stuff I love.

Love the scribble; at first glance I thought it was a very loose zentangle only because I've just been reading about zentangles. I really do like that loose look.
