How clever, and dedicated of you! Though it's clear you loved making these drawings--the lines are so lyrical and sensitive. A beautiful post!!
What beautiful sketches, I love them all
If I could just hop on a plane and pop over to see you all, you know I would... These sketches of your beloveds around hearth and home are so lovingly rendered. Wish I could be there to taste whatever BFG is cooking in the kitchen, and have a chat to you all. (Pat and stroke the Gooch-pooch and Kenzo-cat respectively.) I've just bought some rooibos tea online at a pretty good price for over here - so a little taste of home is on its way... :)
Hi Laura - I did love doing them, I think easier than trying to express the feelings in words (besides the chocolate - just yum will do!)
Thank you Dominique - nice to hear from you again :-)
Gillian, and vice-versa - you and the Hills definitely more subjects to be sketched for the 'beloveds' list. I've just had a cup of rooibos before bed...enjoy yours when it comes!
Wonderful sketches and a very fun way to list the things you love!!
And what I love is this post. It's perfect in every way. Thanks for sharing the loves of your life and for bringing a smile to my face.
Thanks Chris - I had fun visiting your blog too!
Hi Suzanne - there you are, it's good to hear from you - I've been missing your posts. Hope all is well.
What a wonderful and creative way to post your seven things!
Awesome sketches!!
A wonderful and creative way to list your loves! They are all wonderful and I like the sepia ink very much - it's subtle but strong enough to give some good dark shapes.
I love, love, love the sketch of your studio. I firmly believe a completely clean studio is an unloved studio :)
I am so glad I stumbled onto your blog. I look forward to following your work in the future!
I can see that your heart is in every single thing that you do. You are gifted.
What a wonderful。
Really great stuff, your use of color and line is very sophisticated and confident!
he he
your wc 'beach family' has a beautiful ease with wc
I love this style of drawing and lettering. Have you seen the Louis Vuitton travel sketchbooks? Great work!
I love your work. Your studio looks delightful.
Thanks for looking, everybody!
Perry, I looked up Louis Vuitton travel guides - could only see the covers on the website, but will look out for them, thanks
