Waiting...

.... for my exhaust to be fixed
.....for my husband to come out of the shops

.....for my son to get out of college
These were sketched not knowing if I had 10 seconds or 15 minutes to get them down, so a bit panicky!

  1. You are so incredibly, consistently good at this! Everything seems to be either perfect or even better, by which I mean more interesting, than perfect.

  3. Merci Martine!

Charlene, you are so nice, thank you! I am being inspired now by some of the urban sketchers (like Veronica Lawlor, Melanie Reim)whose work is exactly that - more interesting than perfect, so very happy you think so!

Thanks Maree, sometimes one thinks everyday life isn't worth sketching, but that's what it is, so sketch it I do!

  5. Wonderful Sketches Cathy. I really feel like I am there. These journals will be what your children will be looking at when you and I are long gone. How powerful they are.
