Cathy…I rarely rarely post to the blogs I follow which is a fault of mine.
Whenever I look through your posts and I see my own blog listed there I get a nice feeling that even though we don't exactly "talk" we do "keep track" loosely. You are my favorite urban sketcher and I am now trying to get together some interest here in central FL for starting a group that might meet at least once a month. It seems around here I have to scrounge to find folks although I do think there is a group of "central Fl" sketchers I need to connect with. I want to talk about your sketching tools (pens and papers) and I am sure you have posted many time about that. Could you send me those posts so I can look through them again? ginny.stiles@gmail.com

Ginny, thank you and good luck starting a group - it took a while for ours to really take off but at last it seems to be happening. I'll do a search for those posts and email you, though my equipment is a little restricted to what's available here.
THanks Cathy..I remember I first heard about Doodler's ink on this blog.
And I have some and have tried using it in several different ink pens with less success than I hoped for. I do think part of the issue is the "paper surface" has to be just right for dip pens and fountain pens to move smoothly. If ind drippy ink somewhat awkward for mobile sketching too. I know that the materials you use might not be available to me here in the states too. But I'd like to check again to see what you are using.
This is great! So colorful - and some of those baskets are really big = grocery baskets, maybe? You never stop drawing and we have the pleasure of that energy!
Rhonda, the biggest ones are usually used for laundry baskets, but they can be put to all sorts of uses - taking the cat to the vet/picnics/art supplies... :)
I think of all your sketches I love your local peoples ones the very best. You always put a story into each sketch...they are never static.
